Know Your Cut Event Recap – 10 July 2026

Our Know Your Cut dining experience brought together an incredible group of women for an evening that blended curiosity, connection, and unforgettable food in a way only Her Seat and SteakBabes could create.

Hosted in collaboration with SteakBabes, the evening invited guests to leave assumptions at the door and trust their instincts through a blind steak tasting experience unlike any other. With no labels, no hints, and no expectations, every woman was encouraged to discover premium cuts using nothing but her own palate.

Throughout the evening, guests tasted, compared, and rated three premium cuts while learning the story behind each one, from paddock to plate. Guided by expert insights and chef-led conversations, the experience transformed an ordinary dinner into an engaging exploration of quality, flavour, sourcing, and nutrition.

Beyond the tasting itself, the conversations around the table became just as memorable. Women shared stories, exchanged perspectives, laughed over unexpected guesses, and connected through a shared willingness to try something new.

One of the highlights of the evening was the final reveal, when the identities of each cut were uncovered and everyone discovered which steak had become the room's favourite. The moment sparked plenty of laughter, surprise, and friendly debate, proving there really were no wrong answers.

Over shared entrées, premium steak, desserts, and drinks, the evening reminded us that meaningful connection often grows through shared experiences. Sometimes the best conversations begin with something as simple as asking, "Which cut did you choose?"
