Founders After Hours Event Recap - 28th of May 2026

Our Founders After Hours event brought together a room of ambitious women, founders, and business owners for an evening intentionally designed to foster genuine connection.

Hosted by Her Seat, the event was created with one simple goal: to help women find their people. In a world where networking can often feel transactional, Founders After Hours offered something different, a space where meaningful conversations could unfold naturally and authentic relationships could begin.

The evening opened with an interactive exercise, inviting every woman to turn to someone nearby and share one thing they hoped to gain from the evening. It was a simple prompt that immediately shifted the energy in the room, creating openness, curiosity, and conversations that felt genuine from the very beginning.

From there, attendees moved through Sit & Swap, meeting every woman in the room through a series of short, rotating conversations. Rather than staying within familiar circles, each guest had the opportunity to hear new stories, exchange ideas, and discover unexpected common ground.

As the evening continued, the conversations naturally deepened through The Becoming Session, where women reflected on the realities of building businesses, balancing ambition with everyday life, and navigating the challenges that often happen behind the scenes.

One of the strongest themes throughout the evening was the power of intentional conversation. What began as introductions quickly became discussions about leadership, growth, uncertainty, confidence, and the shared experiences that unite women in business regardless of industry or stage.
