Her Seat Event Recap – 20th of August 2026

Our Her Seat Conversation: Melbourne brought together a room of women who are building, leading, navigating change, and creating lives and businesses on their own terms.

Held at The Royce Hotel, the afternoon was designed as a pause from the pace of everyday life, a chance to step away from the work, the decisions, and everything that comes with ambition, and sit alongside women who understand the journey.

This was never about networking in the traditional sense. There were no forced introductions or conversations for the sake of exchanging business cards. Instead, the room was intentionally curated to make space for something more meaningful: honest conversation, genuine connection, and the opportunity to be in the company of women who simply get it.

Over a beautiful shared dining experience, conversations unfolded naturally around the table. Women shared their experiences of building businesses, navigating growth, making big decisions, and finding their way through the different seasons of ambition and life.

What stood out was how quickly the room moved beyond surface-level conversation. There was openness, curiosity, laughter, and a willingness to share the parts of the journey that are not always visible from the outside.

Women from different industries and stages of life found themselves sitting alongside one another, discovering common ground in experiences that may have otherwise felt individual.

The afternoon became a reminder that you do not need to have everything figured out to keep moving forward and you do not have to do it alone.

There is something powerful about being in a room where you can show up as yourself. Where ambition doesn't need to be explained, where challenges can be spoken about honestly, and where the conversations feel less like networking and more like finding your people.

The connections made around the table extended beyond the afternoon itself. New relationships began, ideas were exchanged, and conversations continued long after the event came to a close.
